My Dan Wesson Fireams Pointman Guardian Duce 1911 w/ World Trade Center Tribute laser engraving:
My Dan Wesson Firearms Large Frame Revolver Model 7460 (fires .45 ACP, .45 ACP+P, .45 Super, .45 Win Magnum, 460 Rowland and .45 Auto Rimmed)...anyone interested in this? I might sell/trade it. I didn't have the barrel engraved "460 Rowland" like it comes from the factory, just didn't like it that way.  |

How do you like those DWs? I've been tempted to have my FFL guy order me one of their revolvers.
Has the 1911 been reliable with different kinds of ammo? Good quality parts, grips, sights. etc.? |

Well Dan Wesson has been known to kick-ass with their revolvers for a loong time, seems like the tradition continues. That stainless model 7460 I own shoots wickedly accurate! Imagine if you had a real shooter behind it instead of me? As for the 1911, Not a prob so far with FMJ rounds and Various +P rounds. I went off the beaten path and took a risk with the DW (I was looking at a Kimber) and am pleasantly surprised! |

Huh? I don't get you question... As for who makes it, Dan Wesson uses brand name parts. My particular Pointman has a Jarvis Stainless Steel Barrel with Performance Engineering National Match bushing, Essex Frame & Slide, Caspian tuned extractor, Chip McCormick trigger, sear, hammer, & high grip beavertail, Hogue rubber grips, and lastly CheckMate magazines. |
