Well all we can do now is move on.  
I'm looking at Springfield's catalogue.  Isn't a Operator Light Rail Armory Coat (PC9105L0)a Tactical Response Pistol (PC9108L) with a light rail?  

Why can't I have an Operator (because I want the rail) with a Tactical Response Pistol slide (because I want fixed sights), with the Aromry Kote Finish?

Or in other words, how come when you Armory Kote an Operator, it suddenly grows adjustable sights?  

Will Springfield Armory Kote an Operator if you pay the difference?  Anybody know?    

(because I want it the way I want it damn it!) (and if I'm paying $1k for a pistol, it better be more than parkerized)  

Yes, I believe Springfield will coat a "Loaded" model operator with Armory Kote.  Or you caould have the custom shop build you their custom operator but with Armory Kote.

Custom Shop eh?  I figured those guys would probably have a way to get this done.  Well good for Springfield.  Because I'm a prick.  And I didn't ask how much, I just want it done - my way.
