I really hate that they pulled their shenanigans the way they did. They do make good stuff.

To each their own but why a big and heavy 1911 with 9 rounds of 9mm? I have a few 1911s but other than maybe a .38 super I don’t see the appeal of a 1911 in 9mm.

I don't own a 9mm 1911, but I've shot quite a few. The appeal is that the muzzle stays flat while shooting and it's easy to put rounds on target quickly. I personally wouldn't carry it (too many other options w/more capacity), but its an awesome target and plinking setup. |

I may end up orb one. This is the look I like, and have and use a Baer TRS. This strikes me as the same idea, albeit cheaper

I agree with you, and would also much rather have a .38 Super than a 9x19 1911, but it seems like it would appeal to the "all my handguns are 9mms and I refuse to stock any other handgun ammo" crowd. Whatever gets more people shooting 1911's I guess. It is good to see them expanding the Garrison line, they are a nice handgun and have just about everything I like in a 1911 without a bunch of extra stuff. |
