Friend asked if I still have my 45 and if I want to sell it. Stainless Pro Carry Commander, my only 45, low miles, I thought I wanted to sell, but now I kinda want to keep after taking it out of the safe.

I’d say anything between $600-650 is a fair price. If you ask $850 I’d imagine you get your wish, and you get to keep it.

You might post your question over on Kimbertalk.com. There are a fair few very knowledgeable folks on that forum.

If it's a series 1, keep it.
My compact is a series 1, I will not sell unless someone offers really stupid money.

Same here.  My Series 1 Pro Carry is my one and only Kimber and it's a great carry gun.  It would be hard to replace and I have zero desire to own a Series 2 gun.

The used market for Kimbers has always seemed soft to me (as a Kimber owner). I am talking about 10+ years. The Series I's have always seemed to fare better than the II's - by a considerable margin.
