Can you switch the barrels in a P99 like is possible in some Glocks.  Say going from a .40 S&W and have an extra 9mm for range fun?

I believe the breech face is a different size for the 9mm versus the 40??????

you can't do a .40cal to 9mm... but there is .40cal to 357sig out there
the slide on the .40cal is different from the 9mm although I don't know all the techtalk about it
