I know that Smith and Wesson gives a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser... is Walther the same since they are the same?  I'm looking at purchasing a P99 QA brand new... and I can't find anything about their warranty on any of their 5 web sitesThanks in advance.

So um... I don't guess Smith and Wesson makes a QA 99 or 990... hm... research time...

What they say on paper and what they actually do are two different things I think.  They never asked my my SN or when I bought my P99 (it could have been from the '90's for all they knew) and gave me the best customer service ever.   From what I understand, Walther really stands behind their products (not sure if you tried to send back a P-38)
