I don't think you could go wrong with Speer Gold Dots, Winchester Rangers, Remington Golden Sabers, any of the defensive ammo really. They will run fine through your 26. Atleast mine does.

Speer 124gr +P Gold Dot SB. (BONDED CORE)
In testing, the Gold Dots area as good as or better than anything else out there, and the SB's are optomized to produce reliable expansion AND penetration from short barrels. To my knowledge, Speer is the ONLY major ammo maker that produces a line of ammo optomized for short barrel CCW guns. Bullets designed to be fired form "full length" pistol barrels (4-5 inches) often under-expand and over-penetrate due to the reduced velocity from a shorter barrel. 124 gr Gold Dot SB bonded core hollow point at 1150f/s= 364 Ft-LB (from a 3.5" bbl) Link to Speer's Press release on Gold Dot SB Line They're what I carry in my Kahr PM9. |

I really like the 124 gr. +p Rem Golden Sabers. Accurate and not much muzzle flash. My 17 and 26 are loaded with this.

I'd love to see some Rangers thrown into that mix as well. Great pics and demonstration. Makes me think hard about getting some HST.

Be warned with the Gold Dots. They are one of the worse for producing muzzle blasts in low light. When we ran them, you couldn't see your anything after firing 2 rounds. The least blinding was the ranger loads.

Damn , that Federal HST looks impressive from the pics . 9mm
I carry the Remmy Golden boys myself but may have to look at the Federal stuff . I know I won't get as good a deal on them as I did on the Golden Sabre though . HST I'll have to remember those . |

My experince with the regualr 124gr +P Speer Gold Dot is contrary to that... very little flash from 3" and 4" guns. Not as low flash as Winchester Ranger, but nothing distracting or detrimental to my night vision. |

+1 for Corbon, I also use Hornady in mine.
Glock 26s are the best. =) I also carry a G17 magazine as my extra mag b/c it can hold 7 more rounds than the standard G26 mag. |

Ammoman.com usually has 9mm +p124grn gold dots in bulk, he's out right now, but expecting more. I'll be getting a case next time its in.

I'm using Hornady TAP black box 147gr 9mm in my bedside gun do to low flash. And Ranger T or Cor Bon in my CCW's. My switch over there too.

Hell no at that price , for .83 cents more I can get 30 more gold dots, I like the $13.62 for 50rounds alot better !!!!
