Switched over to the little bugger recently when I started having reliability issues with the KelTec .380 I had been carrying. The Glock 26 is now the official, everyday, real-world, etc., etc. Given the overall Glock rep, I'm not expecting ammo choice to have any major reliability implications.
Have HydraShoks in it currently. Anybody got a better choice? If so, based on what (jello, street stats, etc.)?
Given the small size and two-finger hold, I'm not going to be real interested in the super-hot stuff, e.g. Cor Bon and the like. Also given the short barrel length, most of that extra punch would probably just translate into more muzzle flash. (I'll never understand the snubby .357 concept.....)
And yes, I realize all the advantages of a full-size "real" gun. Been there, done that. Weighing about 175 and wearing usually just a t-shirt and jeans in sunny central Virginia, my 1911's, Beretta's, etc. just aren't going to be carried for long.
I am seriously interested though, in any proven bad-guy stoppers in sub-compact 9mm's.
Thanks.
