Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - RMR cuts

Picked up a P320 slide cut for RMR for a pretty good price, a RMR fits it properly and it looks well done.

However, it only has the two holes threaded for the mounting screws of the RMR, it doesn't have the 2 pillars projecting out of the slide ahead of the screws.

Good enough or should try to correct this?

They call those pillars "Recoil Bosses". Some machine shops do them and some don't. I don't know what you'd do to correct it.

I'd just mount up an optic and get to work. Blue Locktite your screws of course.
