I got a trade in M&P with a mag safety a while back and recently sent the stripped frame in for cerakote so now would be as good of time as any to get rid of the mag safety.

From what I’ve read it sounds like a spring change, but I’m
not sure what spring to use. SSS used to sell a dedicated one but it looks like they’ve closed up shop and I’ve heard you can use a 1911 spring, but I’ve also seen people say to use hardware store springs.

Does anyone have a source or specific spring for this delete?

Not yet, the frame is still at the cerakoter so I haven’t really bothered with it. I think it’ll be done this week or next sometime so I’ll update when I put it all back together.
