I recall there being a gun smith who would do a conversion to ones 38 or 357 s&w revolver so that you could shoot rimless cartridges in it. Does anyone remember who that was?

I would love to have a s&w L frame that would duplicate the capabilities of the Phillips and Rogers Madusa 47

I too have seen the Medusa design, and greatly desired it.

Until I saw the price tag. And being that it's no longer being produced, I would be afraid
of shooting it: I couldn't get new parts or repairs for it.

BTW It was the gun featured in the book "The DaVinci Code." It wasn't named in the movie but
in the book, it was the gun carried and used by Sir Leigh Teabing. The book was where I learned
about the name of the gun.

Can a revolver chambered in 357. magnum fire a 9mm round?

I didn't know the 9mm tapered so much!
