I'm a 15 year old and a newbie at this gun forum thing. i have a huge passion for shooting, i love it. I'm getting very good with my beretta 92FS.

I have shot many pistols at the range, because every1 wants to try my beretta and they let me try theres. Then they diss. there pistols and praise mine. Even 1911 guys! i love it lol.

This post is mainly here to let others hear your praise about beretta's. Lets hear it boys!

My 92FS Vertec is a great gun.  My only complaint is the plastic guide rod.  It works fine, I just prefer metal, which is why I ordered to Gold Guide Rod and Spring from Beretta Online.

I like shooting my 92 as well.  It's a cheap beater to feed.

I'm 16 and love my Beretta 96 Vertec w/M6. I also have an HK USP .40 S&W and love it just a bit more. Berettas really are great guns!

I bought this one.  It's a 92 G elite.  It's a nice gun, accurate, comfortable, cheap to feed.  It also came with Hogue grip panels and a stainless steel guiderod which he didn't mention.  By the way if you ever need a Beretta trigger worked over, gotm4 is the one you want to do it.  MJD

My Beretta 92FS was my favorite until I bought a Glock.

I carry an M9 at work but would rather it be a G17...

Gentlemen,

Army active duty shooter here.  Never had a problem with my duty 92FS Brigadier.  Personal gun is a 92G-SD, 15K rounds, not  a hitch.  Easy to work on as well.  I have personally done a trigger job to smooth out the action and reduce the trigger pull.

For an ultra-reliable, easy to tinker with, heavy-use pistol I think you cannot go wrong.

Enjoy them, love them, and understand that over time springs need to be replaced.

my $.02

AssaultRifler,

I have a 682 Gold Sporting just like yours except blonder wood. Its my comp gun. Had the forcing cones lengthened. How long are your barrels? Mine are 32" with 1" extended tubes.

Nice Collection of Berettas. I only have one other, a Silver Pigeon III 20ga.

28" with factory ported barrels, use it mainly for skeet, but since its a sporting clays model it's good obviously for sporting clays and trap.  I got the shortest bbl they make cause it helps in skeet

I've owned a stainless Italian for 11 years now. Alot of guns have come and gone in that time but the Beretta still sits by the bed.

I paid $500 for it way back then.

PS  It has never malfunctined

In many states, one can own a weapon at any age as long as it is a gift, and not purchased by the underaged person.  His Dad could have bought it from him for his B-day.  Although it remains in his fathers name, and he is ultimatly responsible, the young man can go to a range with the weapon and shoot it all day long legally, without worrying a cop will take it (as long is there is a way of proving it's a gift, and not a weapon received by illegal means)

I'm very pleased with my 92FS Vertec.

Do any of you use yours for CCW?

I use my 92 INOX for CCW in a alessi IWB.  Pretty comfy.

I absolutely love my 92FS; it's my CCW 100% of the time.  I have a Belly Band holster and it sits right under my left armpit.  Have gotten so used to it that I don't even notice it's there most of the time anymore.  It's my only handgun and in no way has it ever disappointed me.

Several months back I purchased and installed the Lasermax Internal Laser in it.  Knocked the value of my 92FS up $400.  Love my Beretta; wouldn't live w/o it!

Just wondering..is FL one of those states?
