Just bought a P239 to use a carry gun. What would be a good holster for a tall, skinny person (6'2", 165 pounds)? I had originally planned on using a Milt Sparks VMII or Watch Six for my 1911, but I am wondering if I need such a big holster to carry the P239.

Galco SOB for me, but SOB carry is a love it or hate it proposition.  Just don't knock it if you haven't tried it.

Looks like the VM2 is popular even with the smaller guns. Anyone use the Comp-tac CTAC? My local gunshop has some for a good price, and there isn't a three month wait.

I have one of these for my Glock 17,excellent holster for the money.I should probably snag one for my P239 for those times when I do not want to carry IWB.

For my 239 .40s&w I use a Watch Six for IWB and a Safariland 527 for OWB.  I prefer the Safariland

Alessi Talon Plus inside the waistband; it looks exactly like my one he made for my G19 pictured below.

Milt Sparks VM-II 1.5" loops for IWB, Galco Concealable for OWB.

Great carry pistol, the VM-II keeps the butt of the pistol snugly positioned.  The VM-II LOOKS bulky - I was a lil' reticent to try it out at first, but the holster really disappears as the wide-spaced loops do such a good job distributing the weight of the pistol and keeps a low profile.

FWIW, I'm a whopping 5' 3" 140lbs, and the VM-II/239 combo is my EDC.
