Which would all be fine, if they’d actually made a true reproduction of the classic historical P210, but there’s zero parts compatibility between the classic P210 and Sig’s new version. If they were going to just make something completely new anyway, they might as well have actually improved the features too. This same complaint applies to FN’s new High Power. Sorry The-White-Dog, nothing against you and it’s still a gorgeous gun. They just could’ve made it so much better… Pic thread |

Got the XMacro comp yesterday and a friend let me try a spare 407k he had laying around.
Not sure if I like the 6 MOA dot. Might switch to a 3 MOA since I’m used to it. Attached File |

My first entry into the P365 world for $474 out the door at the local PX Black Friday sale. I wanted the older optic mounting plate so I can try out the ROMEO-X Compact without redundant rear sights. Swapping out for a Wilson Combat grip and hope to test it out soon.

View Quote EuroOptic and Midway have the Compact on sale for $319.99 right now. They're out of stock but accepting backorders, so that would be a good way to lock in the sale price and have one reserved whenever they come back in stock. Midway shows an estimated back in stock date of 12/07/2023, but it said 11/28 a few days ago, I believe, so they may not really know when to expect a restock. |

I was lucky to grab one direct from SIG before they sold out again. I know they’re not everyone’s favorite, but OpticsPlanet has them available for backorder for $679.99 (+ tax but with free shipping). That’s the cheapest I’ve seen them, but it might take months to show up. |

I know I’ve been a little “absent” lately, doing this Army retirement stuff is crazy and I still have 15 months! Anyway, like I have said many times in our other conversations, this sight is by far the best sight going at the moment and the Romeo X is not far behind. Totally prefer the closed emitter by far, but the mounting height is key. Presentation is the same as with Irons so you are not “Learning” it all over again. JMHO again, but I don’t know any, and I mean any of my fellow shooters who have disagreed with me. Being that these just got and NSN the Reserve Team is placing an order soon for our guys. Yes that’s an AXG module… Cp |

Last night, I was finally able to pick up my new pre-ordered P365 AXG LEGION after a 5 week wait. I immediately threw on the ROMEO-X COMPACT that I have had waiting for this pistol for 3 weeks. I have already ordered the 5.11 case and challenge coin for it.

I just added my 47th SIG pistol. It is a relatively new P226 XFIVE STAS that I picked up on a trade. It joins my other P226 XFIVEs.

I picked this up last Sunday from a local guy. It is a German-framed P229 in .40S&W (made in 2003). It appears it is a former PD issued pistol. One of the magazines is engraved with OTTAWA P.D. (most likely Ottawa, IL). When I got it, it had Hogue grips on it. I DO NOT like them nor are they correct, so I ordered a set of proper grips for it.

Stopped by my local PX today and was pleasantly surprised to see that they had a batch of new black P320 21-round magazines in stock that now come with round count holes on the back spine and the high-visibility orange follower. Interestingly, they still have the 21-round hole on the right side of the magazine. They were full price, but I had to grab two (no sales tax, at least). The coyote tan baseplate version has been shipping with the new M17X and M18X, but this is the first time I've seen the black ones, which I like to use as carry reloads.
The PX has been the only place I've found the new version of the 15-round magazine, and now these 21-rounders. Ordering online makes it difficult to tell what version you'll get, and I like this new style. Attached File |
