So Gaston's partner tried to have him whacked, and he was screwing the .gov out of taxes?  I think I like the guy.

Yep, that is always a great story.  He fought back, basically fucked the other guy up.  And he was fairly old at the time.  Mr. Glock is hardcore.

Just think if he had a Glock on him.... I guarantee the guy would have had 18 9mm holes through him.

From what I read about 'ol Gaston, it'd just been 1 hole.

I'm learning to like my Glock more and more every day.

I LIKE this man!

When I first was introduced to Glocks in the early 90s I'd been
carrying a 1911 and a da/sa semi.  A couple wheelguns for
hunting.  I was skeptical.  Then I shot a G17 my boss had and
was way, way more accurate first time than I ever was with
any of my previous carry weapons.  I missed buying that gun
by a couple minutes when he later sold it.  I continued carrying
a da/sa semi (three different guns over the years) until Glock
came out with the G29.  I got one of the first ones.  I came to
LOVE the handling and controls on that gun.  Now I have 3
Glocks and am thinking of a couple more.  When I handle one
of the old da/sa guns I used to carry they feel clunky to me
now, and I like the fact that I can abuse the gun, carrying daily
IWB and not have to worry about it rusting.

That article was great, like the robber barons of the train era.
