I decided to stipple my G19 yesterday. I'm very happy how it came out. I also ground the finger grooves down quite a bit and made a "finger-stop" in the trigger guard. It only took a couple hours and I used a $25 woodburning kit and a little bit o' Dremel.

Looks damn good around the grip there, although I personally wouldn't have made that notch in the underside of the trigger guard, or stipled the side of the frame above it. To each his own though, if it fits you better that way, good deal.

After he stippled his gun and cut a finger groove I was holding it, and I just really liked the way it fit in my hands. Like you said though, to each his own. |

What is that goofy shit on the bottom of the mag? You can't figure that out? It's a "pull tab", it's an aftermarket baseplate like a Ranger Tab for AR mags. Not sure if it's made by Magpul or Arredondo, someone like that. It is failry obvious what that "goofy shit" is. 
Overall the OP did a great job, and now HIS pistol conforms better to HIS hand, which is very important. Sig_Fan is right.

that goofy shit is a Magpul Speedplate, made for glock mags. These goofy bastards made speed and tactical reloads a breeze. Again...I know it's ugly as hell, but now its the perfect fit and feel, and in a firefight, that's what I'm looking for.

Stippling is the only way to go. Does not peel off, and allows you to flatten the hump, for that Perfect Glock feel. And just for information, im doing this type of reduction and stippling for anyone located in the Houston area.
