I have a fairly new g19 that has around 500 rounds through it.  I've noticed when I was shooting in a match this weekend when I'm at slide lock and I send a fresh mag home the slide drops on its own.  I haven't had any problems because of it, but I want to know if its normal.  Thanks

Fairly normal.  I wish all my pistols had this particular feature.

Edit.  With out the mag follower holding the slide stop up and the vibration of slaming the magazine in will allow the slide stop to fall back into position.

Some will experience this with wear and tear.  Could be lower block pin erosion, broken/weak slide lock lever spring, or misalignment.
