Who cares?  It's a damn kB.  Last thing we need is another thread concerning kB.  It happens...all makes and models...sorry about your bad luck if it ever happens to you.

Thread complete!

That's probably from the gunzone, his stories about kaboom are all 2nd or 3rd hand at best, with no verfication and he's bragged about making that kaboom nonsense into a big deal, but there is probably a story to go along with that picture there if you want to search for it

That is not a kB caused by a case failure.  I have been one of the people unfortunate to fire a glock during a kB, and can tell you that the explosion was contained within the chnaber block, and alos disrupted the slide.  The slide locking lever and trigger were destroyed and never found, but the reciever/frame was mostly in tact.

This picture appears to have the explosion orignate behind the trigerr, in the magwell.  the M-80 theory sounds valid.  I am guessing someone had a glock that didnt work and destroyed it in an effort to discredit Glocks or make a invalid point about firearms safety as a whole.

Well, if it was a kB, and that guy went with a SD.45 to replace it, then he is an idiot.   Because when it happened to me, Glock replaced it for free.
