Does anyone not recommend using Cabelas "once-fired" 9mm ammo in my G19 for plinking?  It's at a great price, but I was told I should not use reloaded ammo unless i'm an expert.  (which i'm not).  So, do you trust the folks at Cabelas? Or should I go with my normal WWB?

TIA

Looking at the ammo, cost in bulk(1200rds) is $0.14 a round before shipping even though the add says $0.11 per rd. That is more then WWB that you can pick up at Wally World. Unless ammo in NY is that much more expensive?

When it comes to ammo, "remanufactured" just puts a bad taste in my mouth.

If your not reloading I've gotten Speer Blazer 9MM 115 grain FMJ for $99.00 per case on sale. They were aluminum casings, but I shot 100 rounds with out a hiccup. At $4.95 per 50 rounds I bought 3 cases on the spot. How could I go wrong for practice ammo!. I've heard good things about UMC 9mm 250 packs from Gander Mountian also. When WalMart runs a sale it usually a good deal also

Nothing wrong at all with Black Hills blue box - it's remanufactured and is of outstanding quality.

Dang!  That's a great price - cheaper than any mail order I've found.  Closest one to me is 4 hours away, but I'll have to keep it in mind when passing through.

I bought the 1200 round deal from Cabelas for a 1000 round day shoot.  We only shot about 700 rounds and I did not have one problem with the ammo.  My G17 shot like it was supposed to.

according to Glock if you use reloads in any of thier product line you will void the warranty on the gun, just thought I would let you know, commerical ammo or not

I had 1,000 rounds of the Cabelas in .40
I only had a couple of FTF in the batch but it was some dirty stuff and horribly inaccurate
