The 19 is the more versatile...I can conceal mine about as well as any 26 and it is much easier to shoot well. To me, it is the one Glock I would never be without in my collection.

I would go with the G26. If you're going to carry a small calibered handgun, might as well be a small gun. I never owned a G19 but I was pretty happy with my 26. More carry options IMO.

I can conceal either equally as well. I prefer the 19 because I hate how short and arched the grip is on the 26. I like the flatter longer grip of the 19 which is much closer to the 26. I also like the 2nd gen 19 that don't have the finger grooves much better as well. Well thats what works for me. You should carry which ever fits your hand best and you can conceal very well.

 (  either is fine and you can get the other one later. the 26 is supposed to be extremely accurate)

I had both for awhile and sold the 26 because I found I could hide the 19 just as well most of the time. The 19 is easier to shoot well.

hey! wadda ya know! i'm doing that right now! the 26 will work fine. you're not giving up a whole lot of speed over a 19. WARNING! this will change should you go up to the 27. i could quickly shoot a big ragged hole out of the middle of the target with my 26. not so with the 27. after my 1st double tap, i've got to reset my hands. |

I have a 23 and 27 so they are the same size as your choices. I carry the 23 daily. It feels better in my hands and I can conceal it as well as my 27 so my choice was easy. Get whichever one you are more comfortable with and then get the other one later.

well shit! that makes it easy! 26 because you can stick it in your pocket while your real gun (g34) is on your hip! having a 17 and a 19 is just completely redundant. |

either way carry to hi-cap g17 mags for back up. i carry a 19 every day in this manner. 9mm may be "under powered" to some but it is hard to argue against haveing 50 rounds on hand.

G26 with a +2 extension and G17 mags as back up. Also pick up a G18 mag. They're a great conversation piece. People say, WTF when you put it in the G26.
