It's been said many times.....
Just leave the SKS as it is. I've done all the mods and end up with my SKS rifles all in original form. That is where they work the best. Don't try to make it into something it is not. |

It doesn't look bad. There are alot of purists here. The good thing is the SKS is cheap. If you mess it up, oh well get another one.. The only thing I find stupid on an SKS is a scope, but thats my opinion. Mine is bubba'd with a plastic stock modified for me and I love it. So do what YOU want to. Remember though the devil is in the detail/ actually building it.

This is why you need several sks's. Just bubba one and leave the rest. I'm either getting another sks or ak come saturday.
