What type of rear sight do you have? And do you have the gas tube lever on the right side of the rear sight block? Some of the vepr with combo gas blocks had a weird style of gas tube retainer. Its not just the length that matters. (Thats what she said)

If anyone has a standard sight model in 7.62x54 and wouldn't mind taking some measurements I would very much appreciate it!

for anyone that might be looking at this in the same boat:
Dinzag arms makes a traditional gas tube for the type II vepr like I have. I purchased it just to have something that's not naked up top. Unfortunately it looks like he's up to 4 months behind on shipments so who knows when it will actually get here. |
