1. Fore grip
2. M4/CAR stock 3. Bells (like the ones that members of the northern alliance put on their guns) |
Except for G2's , which are in all my builds |
some foregrips are OK, the polish Beryl ones, AMD, and Romy are ok with me.
I say, AR birdcage flash hiders AR stocks Tapco Folders(just because they suck horribly compared to about everything else out there folder wise) |
1. non-adjustable or folding stocks
2. non-improved sights 3. a lack of a top rail for mounting an Eotech |
the thread's about what not to put on an AK. |
damn thats sexy. thanks for the picture as to the topic 1. a foregrip can definately belong on an ak, it depends on the look 2. yeh. no car stock. ace looks great. car is out. but other than that, to me, it honestly depends on the rifle. some people can pull some things off because they make it look good. others can't. like the forgrip. it all depends. i'm pretty open about how the ak can look, just so long as it looks good. |

Not an authenticity nut but here goes.
Birdcage flash hider Vortex flash hider OD Green |
Anything AR.
All Tapco except the G2 Anthing designed west of Berlin |

Correct. Stuff that doesn't improve the platform shouldn't be added. Stuff that does should IMO. |

lol I still don't trust them...anyone who can live in a desert and still be clean is shady in my book. Z |
What doesn't belong....
US PARTS.... dang 922r.... After that rant... I would have to agree with No tapco folding stocks No tapco telescoping AR stocks No AR railed type forearms and hg's |
Birdcage flash hider=ok if it's a Norinco Type 84 5.56 AK........ strictly IMHO.... OD green poly AK-74 muzzle brakes just don't look right on a 7.62 AK poly furniture (other than East German brown) on a 7.62 AK |
Only three?
1. A Barrel 2. A Trigger 3. A Magazine Just kidding I'm just jealous cause I dont have a polish underfolder YET. ETA: I'll go back to the AR side now |
Stick around and be assimilated. Gottahavitis is a disease that knows no boundaries. |

What is wrong with putting a quality M4 stock on an AK? Are you guys just worried about looks, or does the M4 stock affect the way the rifle is used or functions? I prefer the look of an A2 stock on my AR-15 but I prefer the added "usability" of a 6 pos stock.
They like to worry about how pretty and original their guns look. Don't try to overcome their cosmetic requirements with silly ideas like making it a better shooting tool. |
1. Non-matching furniture. the worst is the polish tantal,
please, if your going into battel, you MUST look good. That's my only pet peave. well, second only to people who break the CoC to trash other people's choice of accesories and furniture. |
1. Those little jingles that the Afghanis put on there
2. Duct tape of any origin or color 3. Tits...cuz that's just useless. |

I would "recommend" not puting on your AK:
1- Dust Mount Scope Mount 2- Scope Mounts ontop of the gas port 3- Tapco stuff is just ugly to me, but thats me, I can't speak for all. If it suits you, its cool. People have different opinions. |
