In my area all thats available are the WASR10s converted by century arms to accept Hi cap mags.My question is the muzzle has threads can I put an AK74 type brake on it or do I have to get a thread attachment that basicaly is like a muzzle nut that has threads on it out side and inside to mate with my barrel then allows me the proper threads to attach a brake.TIA...Dave

Well to start off ....

Do you have left hand threads or right hand threads?

Mine had a welded on nut, I cut the spot weld and i found the propper left hand threads. If this is the case then any standard AK attachments will work.

Well i think you are good to go with any 14X1LH Ak attachment . No thread adapter required for you, enjoy your rifle.
