I'll bet December is fine with most of the members if they get their mags for around $2.50 each shipped I've bought so much shit from the SG over the years - They don't charge UNTIL they ship. No BS from them ever. |

i'm willing to wait for $3 mags. so long as they ship them, it will be like a happy surprise when i come home and find them on the steps. i've heard nothing but good stuff about sg, so i dont think they're going to try and pull some crap here. my date i expect them is oct 15 :)

Yeah, I ordered 2 sets and my available date notice said Oct 15th also. I hope that I don't have to wait until Dec., but at that price.....I'll be happy when ever they come in.

Ordered 10 out of curiosity. "From a warehouse in the Balkans..." I've been a SG club member since '96, and I've gotten some good stuff over the years. I've also gotten numerous misidentified items, too. I don't think they are truly militaria experts, at least not the guy who writes the copy for the catalogs. I'm hoping this is a jackpot and they are Yugoslavian bolt hold-open mags. Fingers are crossed. |

Just wanted to post an update from what I found out from SG Just now.
The item is no longer offered and page has been taken off website because it sold out. I talked to "Susan" she told me that the mags were scheduled to be in on Oct 15th and that I should get my order since my order was placed on Sept 09. She said they were expected in on 10/15 but talked as though it could be a few days earlier or later depending on arrival. I poked around the SG website and found I bunch of items (mostly E.Europe)with 10/15 due dates, so i'm figuring a cargotainer is making it's way here now or may even be in customs already I think it looks good for those that ordered early. |

I ordered 300 mags and they called me the next day and told me my or would run $5 more per mag plus $187 in shipping!!!!! I then told them I thought that was too much shipping and she cancelled my order. When I asked her if you could calculate the "New Total" she said she just cancelled it!!!!! I got my order in on 9/10/05 and then when I asked her to redo the order she said well it now looks like we are sold out!! I said you can't be sold out, what about the 300 mags that went back into the system!!! She said they should be on the website in a couple hours, so I go home and get online. At first they are sold out then I go on it ten minutes and they are back. So I order and get a SOLD OUT NOTICE in my email!!!! God I am pissed!!

Damn I knew about this when the notice was posted, but didnt order. I hope this turns out well condition wise for those lucky guys that already ordered. I dont see how the going rate for used mags in like $8 ea and they sell for less than $2.50 is possible, but damn even if you can get 5 workign mags you still got a steal at that price.
