I see that Centerfire has VZ 58 kits for $110 now. I was wondering if anyone has ever built one of these? The only receiver I see available is from Ohio Ordnance and they want over $600 for it!!! Are there any other options? Are these even worth building?

Thanks,
Kris

Looks almost like the cost of a milled AK. the kit is only $100 and change might be worth the risk.

These are neat little rifles.. I'd say you would have about $750 in building it, and OOW charges $1300 for a complete rifle, so it's well worth it..

These epople are gonna make a 80% receiver, but don't know the cost, and you would still have to turn to OOW for US parts..

I love it so far.
It is modified by CZ directly to be only semi auto capable.

If you got any questions feel free to ask.
