I recently purchased the 4X POSP scope from Centerfire for $79.99. It is the 400 Meter type. It is calibrated for the 7.62X39 round. My question is this: How much different is the 5.45 round for using the 200 & 300 meter marks? I am using this on my Bulgy 74. Has anyone else tried this on a AK-74?

I think Campy said you should sight in dead-on at 200m and use the 2nd chevron for 300m and the 3rd for 400m.

5.45 is pretty similar to 5.56 in that both drop just about as much from 250-300 as they do from 0-250. The 7.62 runs out of gas/drops as much over 50 at the 150 mark.

Smallbore, zero'd at 100, drops about 3" to 200, 6" to 250 and 12" to 300.

A few test targets will confirm your sight pictures.
