I am sure this has been asked 100 times, but I didn't see it in the forums....

There were lots of AK style rifles at a gunshow last weekend.  Romanian, chinese, othes.   Wide range of prices. $285 - $600

I am looking for the best 'value' 7.62x39 style for plinking.  Short barrel, classic AK stlye.  What country, model number, etc should I look for.  What should i expect to pay?

best bang for the buck: the romanian wasr10 high capacity converversion as imported by century arms international is my pick.

hand select for a straight build job and pay $289-350.
