I think you can put on a folder, but only if it is a US part, or you add another US part.

Templar, what are the US parts in these rifles?

Thanks,
BoB

I think I'm going to wait until Arsenal runs out of all their post ban parts that they stocked up on and starts making correct rifles.

WTF is wrong with all these companies still putting out postban shit? Even looking through SGN, most all the ads are for postban firearms. By the time companies get off their ass and produce evil assault weapons, Kerry will have let another ban take effect

Exactly, you hit the nail on the head.  Romanian WASR's are for sale on sites though with all the evil features.  You tell me Century can get these out but nobody else can?

What type of muzzle attachment is that ?
I tried to find out by going on ArsenalInc's site but no info.

I'm in NY so I need it to be postban compliant.

K-Var/Arsenal was convinced the AWB wasn't going to expire. Everytime I talked to them they wouldn't even consider the thought of the AWB going away. As a result they invested heavily in postban parts. They are now trying to dump them on the market and forcing you to spend more money to buy the correct parts.

Tell them you aren't going to buy their products until they make a correct ban free rifle.

They are making some varients ban free in 'limited editions'.  One of the ban free milled underfolders is currently on gunbroker with a starting bid of $1595.  They are making them, just make sure you pay the mark-up to get a 1 of 200 made rifle!!

its pretty gay IMO.

for the same price as one of their "correct" rifles or less, you could get a polytech legend. Now I'm not saying a poly is functionally any better than an Arsenal inc, they are both on the same level. But poly's demand the premium they do for a reason, they are the best and most correct AK's ever imported, and will never be imported again. Arsenal inc could crank out as many correct AKs  as they want. They are charging "pre ban" prices for rifles with "pre ban" parts when there is no ban!!!!

another thing... will they be making a stamped 7.62 AKM anytime soon?

and will a romanian sidefolder fit on them?

that may make a better platform for the sidefolding beater I want to build. I'd rather pay the extra $100 or so for a rifle with good fit and finish, straight sights and a proper mag well than buy a WASR.....

I'm going to wait like many people for the real deal.  Arsenal Inc. is the one and ONLY company that I can think of that is bringing an AK to the market after the ban with that is completely post ban in appearance.

I'm hoping that the other rifles they will be introducing soon will not follow suit, as alot of people will just look elsewhere.  Which would be ashame as Arsenal Inc might be the best game currently in town.

What I see happening with Arsenal, Inc is that if John Kerry gets into office and by chance all of Congress goes with him, Arsenal is going out of business.  Far-fetched?  Not if the legislation which is already written gets passed.  First Arsenal brings out a product in a configuration that nobody wants and sinks alot of money into this when other companies are filling the void with wanted products.

Arsenal continues being late on the ball and disappoints the market by charging outrageous prices for the incorrect guns.  The new more oppressive law comes into place out-lawing the manufacturing of even compliant AK-lookalike rifles and Arsenal has no choice but to stop manufacturing guns that nobody wanted to begin with.

I guess they can always hold a going out of business sale on the eve of the new law before it goes into effect.

Hope it doesn't happen?  I've already cast my vote for the November election.

Arsenal has completely pissed me off.   I went from being an AK guy to an AR guy.  I figure at least the AR companies are producing products that I want.

The Arsenal company and it's policy of charging absurd prices for secret magic 1 of 200 rifles can kiss my American ass.   If all they will produce "for the masses" is bastardized neutered rifles then they can keep them.

I have no problem really spending 1k or more on a rifle.  I've done it several times this year.  But there is no way in hell that I'm spending that much on an AK just to add an underfolding stock.  That should just be a standard production item.  Just imagine if Bushmaster released a "special" batch of "M4" clones and wanted an extra $500 dollars per rifle, and insisted on making only 200 of them EVER...... It could just go ahead and close up shop.

I predict that Arsenal either changes it's ways or files for Chapter 11.

Phew, looks like a winner... They got the selector marks and stops perfect (if you wanted to add in the other markings) and they didn't make the full auto position the semi position like on all those other chinese and hungarians etc..
I can see one trigger bump, is the other side there too? Some bulgarian guns only have the one side, but I am hoping for both sides to be in place.
Now, if they would just come out with one without the bloody scope rail!!!

EDIT:
OOPS! It looks like in the pics there IS one with and one without the rail!!!! COOOOOL!

It's not a muzzle attachment, it is a standard AK-74 FSB that never had the threads cut into it.
