the early models had a bushing in between the bbl. and the trunnion.

not good.

later models had a custom bored to match bulgarian trunnion, but there were still some issues with build alignment. some shot to point of aim and some did not come close.

customer service has been spotty in the past, also.

the feg receiver is better than oow rec global switched to, but the overall build job matters more than the particular receiver used.

i would only buy an ssr56 if i knew the history of the rifle or i had an ironclad return policy/no questions asked. chinese, bulgarian, hungarian and usa parts can make for a strange mix and there is certainly zero collector value in them.

i like most of the arsenal usa/global products, but these hybreds weird me out.
