I have a Maadi MISR S/A (this is not the frankengun with chinese parts, merely a maadi that's been fitted with enough US parts to be legal to import)

When century neutered this rifle, they turned the barrel to remove the threads and then ground off the bayonet lugs.

I'd like to give it the naughty parts back, but I'm wondering if its gonna be viable to afix the muzzle break to this barrel. There is not enough metal left to rethread this barrel. Is there a pin on slash cut break that I could have silver soldered on so that it would A) look good, and b) not go flying off when I shoot the gun.

To get the lugs back, i need to find a gas block and a front sight block. What I'm wondering is would it just be easier to purchase an un-neutered barrel assembly?

thanks for any help
