I was scanning the EE and was inspired by the rifle Redbone had for sale. After thinking about it for awhile I figured Id give it a shot so I gathered up my tools and went to work. Everything went fine until I installed the MB and checked the length of the barrel. Well somehow things come up alittle short. It was late and I didn’t know what to do but luckily the funshow was in town so I figured Id go and see what I could come up with.
 After a sleepless night I finally ended up at the show and at a table full of FAL stuff. I liked the look of the L1A1 FH and it even has a BAYO lug to boot. So back to the house I go. The FH was an easy install. I just cut it where the threads started and threaded my barrel. Hell the thing even indexed where I wanted it. I have it welded now so all that’s left is to refinish it.
       I’m headed to the range in the morning to send a few down the tube. So far I like what’s been done. Might be just me but I think it turned out pretty good and it defiantly feels good.
