I have a minor pref for Saiga metal over Romy. But their handguards lack any heat sheilding and heat much faster than Romy wood. I have a spare for my fall project which I plan to dremel vents like a FAL Imbel handguard and rtv sealant some roof flashing for a heat sheild.
