I needed the money for other things, I sold it to a friend of mine, she (yes it was a girl!) has wanted it for a long time.

I sold her the SAR-1, a few mags, a 75 rnd drum, a simmons red dot, and some ammo for $375

I had to give her a good deal, the good thing about it is I will still be able to shoot it every once and a while.

Sorry I never got a pic up fellas, she was my girlfriend at the time, she isnt anymore. I actually did take a picture of her with it, but it is on a disk somewhere at her (our old) house. (but I assure you gentlemen... she looked GOOD!)

First ex, dated for two and a half years between 17 & 20 (she was about a year older) ran off with:
Polytech Legend, NHM-91 (RPK configuration), Re-Arsenaled SVT-40, Helwan Maadi 9mm, & my ROTC scholarship. Now out ranks me handily but is stuck making Mud-pies, or whatever a 1st Lt in a vertical construction battalion does, for the Army in Iraq (and she started out the most LIBERAL "Indigo Girls" type of tree hugger you ever met). Tried to get the guns back, nearly got a restraining order against me.

Girl I dated for a year when I was 21 (she was 17 at the time, farm girl from a Morman family in Idaho, 6', 160, and all muscle) ran off with a papered Vietnam Bring-Back T-53 (Mosin 44) carbine, and a matching pair of monigramed "his and hers" East German double-stack Makarovs we'd bought. To be fair she was a dead-eye with the carbine, and often would nail coyotes at extreme range over iron sights with that thing, that gun still kicked my ass recoil wise. Heh.

So be glad that yours is on talking terms with you, and is willing to actually PAY for your guns.

My wife made me buy her a Walther p22 and a Charles Daily 20ga auto. Oh well...
