What is required to build a postban Krinkov? I'm thinking...

1. Stamped receiver.
2. Krinkov parts kit from K-var.
3. Some form of barrel extension i.e. a fake "can".

What condition are these kits in? Who would do a good job doing the build? Also, could I register it as a SBR later and remove the "can"?

Bradd,

You're on the right track as to how to build a post ban krinkov.

I've had two of them built so far. Both by the same gunsmith. Check them out when you get the chance.

Nice pics. I want one too but will have to wait. Maybe a preban SBR eventually.

Magua Industries(Chief Thunder) has some kits also. You may want to compare.

if avoiding the n.f.a. by using a fake can or bbl. extension, the requisite sections of usc 18, sections 922(r) and 922(v) apply. in other words, you must use 6 usa made parts, no folding stock, bayo lug or flash supressor, etc., etc. if built on a post-ban receiver.
