Lots of mounts work on their rail, even the SVD type since they have a groove all the way down the center up to the front U cup. If you appreciate the ability to finesse the adjustments on it, get it. Others may prefer the $40 Belarussian low mount, even though the rail is usually about 1/8" off center but straight, and will need to filed a bit wider at the gaps for a true Picatinny cross bolt.
