I just thought of this idea yesterday. I don't own any side rail AK's anymore but remember always disliking the idea of siderail to picatinny rail mounts that you would then mount your optic too - too many connections imo to get from the optic to the side rail.

Why hasn't anyone invented a side rail to M16 carry handle groove mount? This would let you install an ACOG to the mount hand have it basically act like one piece. Would any of you find use in something like that? I would definitely seek out a side rail AK if something like this existed.

I own both the RS Regulate and AK Master Mount. I prefer the RS Regulate mount as it allows me to center the scope to my AK.
