I have wanted to buy a chinese AK 7.62X39 drum for a while now, just haven't gotten around to it.  Does anyone have a Norinco?  The latest thing to spark my interest in it again was a CDNN add:

Any advice is appreciated.

IMHO- popping the back cover and dumping rounds in beats the flying fuck out of stuffing them all thru the top. Rattles a bit, but who are you sneaking up on anyway?

This is my first favorite Drum.
Second are the Romanians.

I really like these Chinese drums because I keep them all loaded up with just two turns of the spring tension key. With the tension key turned only twice that leaves the rounds in the drum but only a very small amount of tension. Therefor, you can leave these bad boys loaded forever. Also, if you get one. I would either re-paint the weld areas or just keep them lubed. I have had no rust but it seems like those places are most prone for rust.

Thanks for the advice guys.  I found one on EE and sent my M.O.  It was cheaper than from CDNN.  I have always wanted one and I thought I'd get a Chinese one first.
