I have never had a problem with them, but I would much rather have a surplus steel mag.
For a weekend warrior they will work just fine. If you aren't banging the shit out of your rifle at intense matches/classes, I would take one. |

I have a half dozen 20 round Tapcos that are 5 years old, other than having to file them down to fit, no complaints.
The springs aren’t as strong as the ones in my Hungarian Tankers but for what they cost, when they get weak I’ll toss ‘em They’re cheap and they work fine. |

I like em, especially the slabsides. I think they are just as good as the non-metal PMags

I ordered 10. Hell for less than $6 ea for reliable mags how can you go wrong.
If I find the slab side on sale I will buy more if those also. |

I have 51 of the slabsides.. .not a single failure to feed through any of them. They get a bad rap, but they just WORK. I wouldn't take them into combat compared to Circle 10's or combloc steel mil-surp, but for range mags at $6 a pop? oh yeah, all day long

Good for range mags IMO. I use their 20s to zero my AK. I'll stick to Euro steels or Bakes for any serious use.
