What you have is a 700 rd tin of Soviet steel cored ball ammo, 7.62x39.....notice the "M43", which is what the soviets call the steel cored ball ammo. The 700 "UUT" for for 700 each or rds. Looks like factory code 17, with '75 the yr of mfg. Good stuff.....packed in 20 rd boxes. If you want to get rid of it, shoot me an IM or email.
Edited––-sorry, but it is corrosive, mildly at least. Normal cleaning with CLP or Hoppes will do fine. |

Hey great info, thanks alot.
I'm new to purchasing this type of ammo. Is it best to use this, and replace with new? Or should I put this aside for a hell-filled day in the future. |

The only AK ammo worth saving for SHTF is Wolf Military Classic 124gr HP.
