Ok, I've done the search thing and cannot find this so im going to ask you guys.
I have an amd Kit that im using an extended brake on.

I need to pin and solder the brake on, I keep hearing 1100 degree solder this 1100 degree solder that.    Where do I find this stuff, my local HD has several kinds of solder but nothing for 1100 degrees. Its either 800 degrees or brass rods, can you guys give some leads on where to start looking for this stuff?

$42 an ounce? Krikeys mate!
Another option is to blind pin-you would carefully drill through the brake and slightly into the barrel, insert a pin into the hole and cover the top with a bit of weld, done carefully the weld can be filed flush and be nearly invisible but permanent and compliant with ATF rules.
