I am looking for a Parkerizing tank and would like to hear what options are available. I know that Brownells has one for $175 + Shipping, anyone else found a cheaper source ?

www.prakerizingtanks.com seems to have had a GREAT forum and the moderator there was selling some that he made but the fourm is pretty much dead and the URL is up for sale and they are out of the tank business.

I went  to 2 local metal shops and one place want's $160 for the materials alone and the other was not even interested in making one for me. I currently have a call into a 3rd welding shop for a quote.
Looking for the standard 6x6x40 or so, stainless of course.

I GOT THE ANSWER - A FIRST!!!!!   I MUST BE learning something around here.

Go to ebay.  Type in stainless steel pans.   The nice long ones that are used in the cafeteria for keeping food hot...   Check it out.   CHEAP USED AND STAINLESS.  Designed to be HOT.
