I use GUN Scrubber also, it has never had an effect on my hogue grip , spray it on and wipe it off

They are made of solvent resistant rubber.

It works just like "Gun Scrubber" but about 1/3 the cost.
Try and get the non-chlorinated kind. |

Brake cleaner is nothing more than Gunscrubber, but a helluva lot cheaper.  What does it accomplish? Keeping more coin in your pocket.
