Bugs, can they cause a malfunction or a safety hazord in firearms?

A house centipede one of these ugly buggers

went ziping past my safe and I got this idea.

No, they'd just get squished, like this: [pound]

Although, one in your bore could quite possibly, theoretically, qualify as an 'obstruction'.
