I recently completed my first build and was having serious feed issues with a brownells milspec mag. I then purchased a pmag and it seemed to work better but I would still get an occasional jam. After doing some extensive online reading I decided to polish my feed ramps. This seemed to solve the feed issue, but my bolt would not lock open after firing the last round. If I manually cycle the bolt it locks open on the last round. This lead me to do more reading and I found quite a few negative views on my buffer assembly (ATI). Most of what I read talked about the tube being to short. I just removed my tube and the inside measures 7 inches exactly, the recoil spring measures 11 inches with 36 coils and the buffer itself has no markings or H designation, that all seemed to be in spec from my understanding. The only other thing I can think of is a gas issue. Could anyone tell me what the issue with my rifle is?
