Hi all,
I bought this complete upper from a private party. He said it was a BCM upper. chambered for 5.56/.223

I was hoping someone could check these pics out and tell me what they think.
It also has a blemished upper. The Tmarks are not white. but they are a greenish color.
There is a square mark on the upper. The front sight is F stamped. and the barrel has a K stamp on it. I cannot find anything else on the barrel. It shot .223 just fine.

the receiver might be a BCM just without the logo. But that doesnt really mean anything other than BCM painting their logo on a mil spec receiver. BCM doesnt make anything, they are just an assembler like most companies. So they get their parts from reputable sources and then assemble at their shop. But the BCM barrels will have the 5.56 NATO 1/7 markings on the barrel. I cant remember if its on the 12 o'clock or 6 o'clock position but it will be forward of the from sight.
My BCM I used to have had that same forge square mark as yours does. The T marks being a green color is weird and would make me think its not from BCM unless its one of their blemished ones that they sell and before they painted their logo on it.
Im thinking the barrel isnt from BCM, but then again that doesnt mean anything, or make it not any good.
If your barrel has anything other than 5.56 NATO 1/7 then its not from BCM. They only put out 1/7 twist M4 contour barrels
