So I'm trying to install a NM rear sight on my RRA A2 when I notice this hole
 Is this normal? Is something missing here? What stops the spring? Also, when do I knock the pin through this hole?  Please tell me I didn't ruin this upper. |

The little hole is supposed to be there.

Yes. No. Huh? That small hole is the drain hole for the bottom of the elevation index set screw. Welcome to having a properly made upper.
After you install the elevation knob and the RSB and after you insert and compress the spring. the Build It Yourself forum should cover this. |

Thanks Tweak. I own a 6920 with a A3 upper, so I'd never seen the hole before. When I looked into the upper and saw the spring pokin' down in there I nearly sh%^ a brick. Got it figured out now though. Thanks again.
