is your buffer tube screwed up far enough, to where it's holding down the buffer retainer?

common problem with collapsibles, screw the receiver extension in one more turn. If the lip of the extension hit the detent pin you'll have to cut the lip back until it clears. Even then, the tube may properly engage the detent and also stick far enough out of the lower to impinge on the upper receiver. In that case you have to grind a relief in the extension.
Easier to just buy the right lower receiver extension. |
