On Midwest Industries web site it says the MCGAR-17P will work with the Osprey 416 gas piston system. I couldn't find that rail for sale anywhere.
I couldn't even find it listed on their site. The only thing I could find listed on MW was MCTAR-17G2 which is the gen2 version and it is out of stock everywhere.


I finally found the MCTAR-17G2 on eBay. So I bought it thinking it would work because it was the gen2 version and the only difference I could tell was the QD holes.


Then thinking about how many rails don't work I asked in GD about the fit and was linked to a site that said it wouldn't.


So my question is can the rail I bought be modded to work with the Osprey system?
