just wanting to know if i could remove my "permanently" attached muzzle brake the same way that is shown in the link below. didnt know if the AK brake is attached the same way as the one in the article or not. thanks!

AK, AR just a few letters off. Wouldn't this do better in the AK-47 section?

My latest Bushmaster barrel was double pinned - a pin on each side of the barrel @ 90 and 270 degrees - if 0 degree is straight up

Grind around the brake with a belt sander until u can see the outline of the pin(s) then drill them out with a drill press until they spin, then u should be able to  knock the last bit of the pin out -I had to split my flash hider to unscrew it, as I could not remove it even with use of a barrel vise and a 24" breaker bar

what? its a bushmaster AR with a AK 74 brake.

My mistake. I saw AK-74 and thought thats what you were talking about.
